Frequently Asked Questions
What is the actual market opportunity?
The global virtual machine market will grow from USD 12.73 billion in 2025 to USD 43.81 billion by 2034, driven by rapid cloud adoption, the rise of remote work, and ongoing digital transformation across industries like BFSI, government, and IT.
MultiPortal is built to meet this demand by providing a scalable, commercial-ready control plane that simplifies infrastructure management and supports modern, multi-tenant environments.
Who is MultiPortal for?
MultiPortal is built for cloud providers, MSPs, telcos, and mid-to-large enterprises. If you manage virtual environments and want a control plane that simplifies infrastructure delivery without adding complexity, MultiPortal is for you.
What are the commercial benefits for partners and resellers?
MultiPortal offers a scalable pricing model with recurring revenue, built to support partner growth at every stage.
It’s easy to package, sell, and scale, whether you’re starting with a few customers or managing large volumes. For detailed partner margins and pricing, reach out to our team.
How is MultiPortal different from other platforms?
MultiPortal is purpose-built for commercial use, not a DIY or open-source workaround. It includes multi-tenancy, billing, orchestration, and analytics out of the box. While we currently lead with Proxmox, the platform is designed to support other hypervisors and tech stacks, making it a future-ready infrastructure solution.
How do I get started?
You’ve got a few options, depending on what you’re after. You can start with a 2-week free trial, full access to all features and unlimited CPU sockets in our standard edition. Just fill out the trial form on our website to get started.

No matter your size or need, there’s a starting point for you.
Does MultiPortal support only Proxmox?
Proxmox is our starting point, but not our limit. MultiPortal is designed to support additional hypervisors and infrastructure stacks over time, so your investment can scale with your needs.
While we integrate with Proxmox, we don’t provide direct support for it. Service Providers manage their own Proxmox environments, but we can connect you with trusted partners for setup, management, or troubleshooting if needed.
What integrations does MultiPortal support?
MultiPortal integrates with Microsoft and Google for Single Sign-On (SSO), providing a secure and seamless authentication method for users. This ensures that access to your environment is protected by your organization’s identity and access policies, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) if enabled.
Can I customise the portal with my own branding?
Yes. With a Standard or Enterprise licence, you can personalise your portal by uploading your logo and changing the application name. This helps you present MultiPortal as your own branded experience.
Can I add multiple users or teams?
Yes. As a Service Provider, you can create multiple users under your account to help manage your environment. You can also create users for each of your resellers and tenants. Resellers have the ability to manage their own users, as well as the tenant users under their hierarchy, giving each level of your organization the control it needs.
Is my data secure?
Yes. MultiPortal is ISO/IEC 27001 certified. We don’t store or host your data. The platform runs in your environment, and all VMs, configurations, and customer data remain under your control. All plans, Community, Standard, and Enterprise, include encrypted communication, secure authentication, and the guarantee that no data leaves your infrastructure. You own the environment. We provide the secure platform.
What happens if I need to upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Upgrading or downgrading is simple.
Upgrades: If you’re on the Community or Standard plan, you can upgrade to Standard or Enterprise at any time. A new licence key will be issued, unlocking all features of your selected tier immediately.
Downgrades: You can also move to a lower tier when needed. A new licence key will be provided, and feature access will adjust based on the plan.
Your data stays intact during both upgrades and downgrades, so you can switch plans without disruption.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
Once your licence is cancelled:
Service Providers lose full access. The platform will enter a restricted state, and only the Licence page will be visible.
Resellers and Tenants will have limited access for a short grace period (around 2 weeks) to complete any transitions. After that, access is fully revoked.
Want to resume later? Just reach out, we can reactivate your licence and restore full functionality.
